H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH SILVER COIN THREE COIN SET

This three-coin set is issued to mark the centenary of the birth of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on 21 April 1926. She became queen in 1952 at the age of 25 and reigned for 70 years before passing away on 8 September 2022. The set brings together three different 1oz silver proof coins, each with its own design.

The 1oz Silver Proof Coin features five historic effigies of Queen Elizabeth II from across her reign, set against a background of golden wattle, with St Edward's Crown, the Sovereign's Orb, the Tudor rose and the Sovereign's Sceptre also included. The 1oz Silver Proof Gilded Coin is based on the commemorative florin issued during her 1954 visit to Australia, featuring a lion and kangaroo gilded in 24-carat gold. The 1oz Silver Proof Coloured Coin shows Her Majesty in the wattle dress worn during that same 1954 tour, with a stylised version of the wattle brooch she received during the visit as the background. All three coins carry the inscription 'H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH II 100th ANNIVERSARY', the 2026 year-date and The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark.
